best gaming laptop at the moment (help pls)

    Yo, can you please advise me on the best option for buying a gaming laptop at the moment in the £1000-1300 range? I play FPS shooters and just games with friends. My previous laptop, which cost £1,000 and had a 4070 and Amd Ryzen 9 8945hs, had its motherboard die due to a manufacturing defect, and for three months now they have been unable to repair it under warranty. But never mind, please advise.

    I'm also thinking of asking for a refund, and I need some expert advice on that too!!! I'll have a choice between getting a refund of £1,000 or having them send me the same laptop that had the factory defect, but new. It has 16 GB of RAM, 4070 8 GB, AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS and 512 GB SSD. But there is a chance that the motherboard will be defective again :) What should I choose?
