Battery runs down while off

    If I leave my Aspire One 150 in the case and off the battery could drain up to 50% in just a few days. Why?

    It seems to be a problem with the aao batterys if you use the search in this forum you can find out more about it. But the best thing to do is to take out the battery when it is off

    Are you sure AA1 is OFF not on Standby??

    I am sure that it is off and not on standby. I shut it down in WinXP.
