Hey guys. I am looking for some freeware for XP that will not show me the % remaining of my battery, as XP does that for me, but will tell me how many cycles my battery has been through, and most importantly, remaining total capacity of the battery (how healthy the battery is) in terms of mAh. Now, I knew the name of a OS X app that does this and even heard of a windows app, but forgot both. :( can anyone help?
    Thanks!

I use NoteBook BatteryInfo from http://www.batteryinfo.de.vu/

I'm not sure that the embedded controllers in AA1 batteries actually record the cycle count.

I use a amazing program called Notebook Hardware Control. i have it showing my battery health, battery time left, CPU temp, HDD temp, even the speed that my Atom is is at for second to second. Amazingly, you can even bring the CPU speed down to about 200MHz to save tons of battery life!!

It's not yet possible to underclock the CPU to 200mhz on AAO.

And i Qoute from the program
and it gives you several choices for processor speed. i have verified that it does work too :)

you can set it so it only activates a speed on battery or even on ac. it gives you tons of options in this program. i really would call it an all in one stop for hardware information in ur taskbar.

The CPU speed = the "external" clock btw.
