Battery Management tool for AA1?

    I use Fedora 14 LXDE and am looking for a Battery Management tool. With eg Gnome such a tool is standard provided for use on a laptop. the tool charges and decharges the battery while on net-power to optimize battery life. I guess these tools are distro-independent.

    does anyone know of such tool for the AA1 that works well, preferably under LXDE?
