When I first turned on my aspire one it had a battery indicator in the bottom right of the screen, now it doesn't...
Any ideas why it went, and how to get it back?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't know why it went, but the software which produces it is called kpowersave. Starting kpowersave (use Alt-F2 to get a command loine, type 'kpowersave' and press 'run') may solve the problem.
