    hi, anyone who got this

    http://basket.kde.org/index.php

    to work :?:

Or knows of an alternative program :?:

I tried (yum install and pirut) but, of course, there are unresolved dependencies.

(I have the 8Gb/512/Linpus version and it is soon before I trash it since it prevents me from being productive.)

problem solved, works now, but still interested in other such applications on linux ...

    to install basket:
    first:
    http://macles.blogspot.com/2008/08/depe ... e-one.html
    sudo yum install yum-utils
    sudo yumdownloader gnome-menus redhat-menus
    cp /usr/share/desktop-directories/* .
    sudo rpm -U --force gnome*rpm redhat*rpm
    sudo mv *.directory /usr/share/desktop-directories

    then:
    sudo yum install basket

    Re: BasKet Note?

actually just found one more application (which I hope can replace ListPro from PPC) which is called notecase, which seems to be pretty good.installation: sudo yum install notecase
    http://notecase.sourceforge.net/index.html

however, still interested in other linux software for PIM, hirachical notes with images, todolists etc...

I'm a big fan of OneNote...always wished that I had a tablet computer to take full advantage of it. I've never found anything that provides all of its functionality for Linux.

For heirarchical information I've used TuxNotes for years.... http://www.tuxcards.de/ It's a pretty simple program, easy to use and quite good at organizing notes.
