Backup Recovery Save to USB Flash/Jump Drive?

    I don't have an external DVD/CD drive for my acer, and I really don't plan to get one since I have another laptop I use, and the acer aspire is to be just for notetaking and on the go stuff.

    I just bought my acer yesterday and I keep getting a pop up window on the lower right side asking me to make a recovery disc.

    Can I use my usb flash/jump drive the same way I would a disc and just save it to the jump drive instead of a disc?
