Atheros AR5B125 keeps getting disconnected

    I recently got an Acer Aspire AO756. For the most part, I got everything up and running. Other that the finicky keyboard (I have to remind myself to hit space bar firmly) and wobbly touchpad (acts up after hibernation every so often, but getting better), the sore spot is the Atheros AR5B125 Wlan card. The Atheros AR5B125 keeps getting disconnected. It happens randomly, but it happens. Once I press connect, is good to go but its very annoying. I tried several drivers and changed the power saving settings on both the card and network settings under power scheme. Now, is this a problem with the card or windows 8? I'm getting ready to order an Intel Network 6235AN.HMWWB Centrino WiFi card, but will this cure this problem? Has anyone encountered and resolved this problem?
