I have an Asus A412 laptop, and recently I want to add an additional SATA's SSD (WD Blue 3D Nand 1TB) to my laptop.

I read about the instuction and how to install the SSD. For Vivobook series, they need some kind of HDD / SSD Kit (including bracket and the HDD/SSD flexible called HDD FFC). The Kit should be in the package with the laptop when I bought it, but for some reason I did not get the Kit when I bought the laptop.

So, I buy the Kit from e-commerce, the store owner said it is compatible with my laptop even though the label said it is for ASUS X415 not A412, but they both use 10-pin connector. Long story short, I was trying to install the SSD to my laptop using the kit that I bought before.

Right when I was trying to turn on my laptop, the indicator just blinking once for about 1 second and then turned off again. I don't know why but when I unplug the flexible SSD connector (SSD kit), my laptop turn on normally.

Can someone help me? I just want to install my SSD to my laptop :(
