    G'day Guys,

Id appreciate a bit of advice with my wireless network I've setup at home.

    Heres what im running.
    ADSL2+
Home Gateway: WAG54G2 Linksys by Cisco
    WAN Security. WPA2 TKIP
McAfee Security Suite on all devices on network.

Network software installed on a Dell Dimension 2400 Running XP pro SP3. Connected via LAN.

    Other Devices:

Acer Aspire One - Intel Atom 1.6GHz 1gb Ram. Running XP SP3. Connected Wirelessly to network
Toshiba Notebook - Running Vista. Connected Wirelessly to network
Tivo DVR Gen3. Connected Wirelessly to network

    The Issue:

Everything on the network runs as it should except for the Aspire One. It connects to the home network without hassles but it has no internet connectivity. Firewalls are off (windows and Mcafee). Aspire one pings the Dell, no return loss. It pings the router, no return loss. Vice versa also applies.

The aspire one connects fine to other wireless networks (coffee shops, friends places etc) and if i connect it to my home network via LAN the internet has connectivity.

If i disable WPA2 security on the gateway and run wireless mac filters, it again connects to the network but HAS internet connectivity. I ran this setup for awhile but someone got around the mac filter  thus wanting to run WPA2.

Thats about as much info that i can think of as being relevant.

    All responses appreciated!!!

    cheers Jason.

Try doing a hard reset on your router and see if it can access the net on an open router without security set. If it accesses the net on a open non-secure router than your security settings where incorrect.

Completely erase the profile, for your home network, on the Acer and start over. My guess is the Acer thinks you are a different encryption or it got scrambled. Once that happens it will connect but not exchange traffic.
