Aspire One - ZG8 - A0531H - hard disk not detected

    i bought a ZG8 from eBay. I wanted to reinstall Windows XP Pro SP3 instead of having Windows 7.

    The BIOS was passworded, the seller did not have this. I decided to flash the bios with the latest version hoping for the password would be removed. That did noy work. After doing that I can not using the boot option F12 and hard disk is not been detected.

    i did remove the hard disk and tested it in a usb craddle and it worked fine, so I decided to reformat it.

    Help !!! :(
