I've owned this PC for two years now and the freezing problem is maddening.

I've googled fixes here there and everywhere and changing the graphics settings helped a small amount (but left me with an annoying series of warnings about the the graphics executables I have to verify on startup).

It's not even like a BSOD where there are tell tale files left in the relevant troubleshooting directories so you can work out a solution.

Has anyone found any workarounds for the freezing problem or should I just flog it and buy something more reliable? Would Windows 7 be any more reliable? Restore to factory settings? Reload Vista without the Acer settings?

    Darn thing!

Put vista in the waste basket.

Use Win7 or Linux Lubuntu and 1,5GB RAM if A110L
Upgrade the SSD to 32GB.if A110L
