UK - 10th July - now 21st July
Canada - (mid August)
USA - (unknown)
Portugal - 18th July
Norway - 25th July

Post below if you know of any further release dates for any other countries

It's going to be a big gadget week for me next week (I live in the UK) :D . Aspire One on 10th July and then my shiny new 3G iPhone the next day. This is assuming that CCL get them in stock immediately. Fortunately I don't live that far away from CCL so I could go along in person to collect it.

I don't know which I'm more excited about.

Now all I need to do is to figure out how to use my iPhone as a HSDPA modem (apparently this is not as easy as it ought to be), oh and to think of an excuse to my wife as to why I've bought two new gadgets in two days.
 
I have heard that the ship date in Canada will be August as well, however NCIX.com is listing delivery as mid July.

I hope NCIX is right! :D
 
Sweden: 17th/25th July according to a couple of magazines but according to most retailers, mid-August. Let's just say no official release date have been announced yet. :cry:
 
After all the hyper about getting it in the UK earlier, looks like we nearly last to get it :( oo well, thought it was to good to be true :lol:

New information for Swedish users: The Acer Aspire One with 512 MB RAM, 8 GB SSD and Linux will cost 2,995 SEK (€310/£245/$485) when it hit the stores around week 32 (August 4-8).

Just called Tigerdirect.ca. According to sales rep, they will receive the Linux version (both SDD and 80 GB HDD) on July 19th and ship them to customers right away. However it seems the XP version (with 120 GB HDD etc.) will be released mid-August. I guess NCIX has same schedule.

Yeah I just saw those right before reading your post. Unfortunately they only have the Linux version with the SSD so far (and I'm starting to think the HDD is the way to go for reasons stated in the Hardware section of this forum), and I definitely don't want to pay extra for Windows (though it's only another $22 and comes with 1 GB of RAM so maybe I'll get that anyways). It says I need to call for availability though so I'll have to wait until tomorrow. Hopefully they've still got some in stock! (considering they're only going to make 20% of their stock with Windows...)

No news for the other models yet :(
 
any1 know when the acer 120gb or 80 gb hdd window Xp version is launching ? casue in singapore there is only lunix 8gb SSD
 
oh so means there is a xp version ? so we must just wait for them to launch in singapore ?
