Good job. It would be good if you could post so pictures that show the wires connected to the motherboard circled in red so it can be seen just where the wires need to be soldered. Did you solder the fingerprint reader to the hub or just plug it in? Thanks for sharing.

Not a bad idea. However will it past the test of time? I think it will build up dirt and not read the way you have it mounted and possibly be a pain to keep clean. I have a sane external one and found out it's not totally reliable on locking out unwanted fingers. I have to wonder why you went this far to get one mounted to lock down your system? If it's just in case it's stolen have you considered a LoJack type of program? Take a look at this post if so or if it interest anyone.

Nice job dude. I like how you did the slope so that your finger can go lower. I also did this mod on mine, however didn't do that slope and is kind hard to swipe a finger. I'm gonna do that slope on mine soon.

How fast does can the fingerprint reader log you in windows?

I'm currently using face recognition for log-in and it takes about 1 second for it to load up and half a second for it to recognize my face and login.

Use lenovo veriface program on your AAO. Enable webcam, register your face, and then you're done. When starting your computer, veriface program will run during the log-in screen, then a webcam windows will appear. Move your face in front of the camera and it'll log in for you. There's no user interaction with the computer to login. Everything is automatic.

Use isohunt.com to search for it. Isohunt is a search engine btw if you didn't know that.

Isohunt is the best torrent search engine and their servers is about 10 miles away from where I live. The website contains torrents from almost every torrent site including demonoid...etc.

Try lowering the security. The highier the setting, the slower it is and less chance you can fool the computer.

I already gave you a link in your PM. BTW.. stop talking about it. Using this program on AAO already breaks the EULA and is illegal.

also, how do you install them, like, realistically, the instructions are a little vague, are there any more detailed ones like the ones for touchscreen mods? :p
