Good Day! I hope you're enjoying a pleasant one.

If I replace the WiFi Card in my Acer Aspire One AOA150 Netbook with the Intel 4965AGN... will I lose functionality of my Network Adapter?

    Original NETWORK ADAPTERS:

    Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter

    Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller

It will work if you find the right driver and if it is in the white list of your BIOS.

A WHITE list is some data written in the BIOS by the manufacturer. It will tell witch hardware the portable can use, if the hardware is not written in the WHITE list it will not run in that portable.
Hope this will explain what is a WHITE list in the BIOS.
    Hello tuxie from Holland.

There are no known compatibility issues with the Intel 4965AGN card and the Acer Aspire One Netbooks.

The Intel 4965AGN comes with a CD full of software/drivers needed to install the card... or you can download them from their site, along with anything else you might need including but not limited to troubleshooting and setup information related to your card, computer, and/or router.

So Swarney you're a Super Moderator on this site, you should act like one. To me you are a fool on this site, you laugh at the mistakes of others without contributing to the answer. You should be more professional in your answer.

AndyTech, junior member, second post attacking a moderator who has been using the site and helping numerous others for several years. Here are some tips, 1, learn to spell, 2, don't attack the mods, 3, if you don't like it, leave. Guarantee you I've helped more people on here than you ever will. Snipe me again and you're gonna find yourself banned. As for anyone else who found my post "abusive", "foolish" or "unprofessional", I challenge you to find this supposed "white list" in the BIOS.
