I have successfully installed pyNeighborhood as described in this post -http://www.aspireoneuser.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=89&st=0&sk=t&sd=a#p1041 . I can mount the Public folder on my NAS ( a Western Digital Mybookworld box) and can see and read files. My problem is I cannot create files or folders on the NAS. It appears that do not have write access.

I don't think anything is wrong with the NAS configuration as I can write files and folders from Windows PCs and from a PC running Ubuntu Linux.

I have tried to change permissions on the NAS folder from file manager>using properties>permissions but to no avail.

Can anyone suggest how I might solve this?

PS thanks to Fabien for the original post

Solved - I can now write to my NAS  . The solution was to change preferences in pyNeighborhood to "Always use anonymous logins". It is now working fine. Thanks again to Fabien.
