    Hello,

I have just bought an Aspire One 522 - C6Dkk.

And I did install windows 7 starter on it.

Now my display resolution is stuck at 800x600. I would like to get back to the normal resolution.

What can I do ? I did install all the drivers of Acer Aspire One 522 online support driver web page. But it did not resolve the issue.

Is my Aspire One 522 detecting his right display ?

It says "Generic PnP Monitor on Standard VGA Graphics Adapter".

And one more thing, my HDMI output is not working too. I don't know why ? But it looks like it is related.

Can somebody please help me ? I have a lot of experience in reinstalling OS and normally make the new OS run integrally. But here it did not work. Why ?

I would really appreciate some help.

The solution is on this web page :

    http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pa ... otfix.aspx

    You have to download :

    "AMD Catalyst 11.10 Hotfix for Windows 7 / Windows Vista® 32-bit Edition".

    Then it works, just fine.

Now my display name is "Mobile PC display", and resolution 1024x600. Witch is enough.

    HDMI works too.

This netbook is fast and nice. I do recommend it.

For the missing bluetooth, witch is not on every model the case, you can get a great one, best technologies for cheap.

    Look at "Hama USB 2.0 Bluetooth V3.0 + EDR Mini-Adapter, Klasse 1".
