aspire 5920g graphics issue

    hi I have a acer aspire 5920g with black screen what happened is I was using an multi charger but the switch got knocked to 13v which in turn has seemed to cause this fault I have tried the following swapped and changed ram tried another hard drive tried another screen and even tried a new graphics card has anyone got any ideas please cheers steve

    Your more than likely have to take it to a repair centre. Look at page 70, there's a part listed as a screen inverter could be a possible culprit. Here's a link to a disassembly manual site . http://tim.id.au/laptops/acer/aspire 5920g.pdf

    thanks when I tried a working screen this also had a good inverter and was still the same don't really want to go down the road of going to a repair centre as I've already put more money into this machine than I really should of
