My netbook is 3 mos old and I have this problem of the page zooming on its own. I have contacted Acer and they keep telling me to do all these things...which I have done...now they tell me to restore it to orginal..which I have done. I still have the same problem. Any one out there have this problem?

Hello. i have had similar issues but mine usually occurs when I am typing or using the touchpad. i think maybe I'm hitting a combo of keys that zooms it it. I have been unable to determine what yet, just wanted to let you know you are not alone in that issue.

Just to make sure that the problem is not a feature..
you are not talking about the feature that when you spread your fingertips on the mousepad the IE zooms the displayed font sizes....

that may be what im doing, accidentally touching the mousepad with multiple fingers and forcing it to zoom.

If it still happens after restoring, thats the queue for Acer to swap it out for another machine. Just call them back and they'll get you a new one.

well I have done everything they told me to do and it is still happening...they told me to update the VAG driver so I did. I thought it fixed it but it is still happening.
I now do think it could be in the mouse pad. because if I am using it that is when it happens and also when i am writing an email.
any suggestions? I have contacted Acer again.

If you have two fingers on the mousepad and spread them apart or close together it zooms the screen. it's a feature of the pad. Try using an external USB mouse for a day and see if the issue goes away,
