AOD257 Time & Date Setting Problem

    i have just purchased an Acer Aspire D257 from a local store,
    well the guy gave me new battery with it,
    1st the issue was battery not charging, how ever i managed to get it working by some google help,

    but a strange problem is, when i turn off my netbook the time doesn't update on next startup, it shows the time when i turned off the netbook

    Any Solutions??
