AOA110 Not seeing zif to CF drive

    Hey Guys, I've had a search but not able to find anyone who has a similar issue.

    I recently purchased one of the CF to ZIF adapters to convert my AAO 110a from an 8Gb hard drive to 32Gb.

    Sadly the upgrade didn't go according to plan.. as in the netbook doesn't see the drive at all, nothing is shown in the Bios.

    I've checked the ribbon cable with the existing drive and that is fine, the 32Gb card also works find in a card reader, and just to be sure I even tried a 512Mb CF card I had lying around and it still didn't work.

    At present everything is pointing to the PCB / Convertor, just wondering if anyone has any other thoughts?

    I've checked the BIOS and it is the latest version.

    Flip the cable?

    Tried to flip the cable at one end? This did the trick on mine... :D
