This 8.9" netbook is only two weeks old (Acer AOA 150-1746 in Canada). This morning the netbook keeps shutting down within 2 to 30 seconds of rebooting. Battery and power supply seem to be okay. Any thoughts on why this is happening? Is this problem common for this model?

    Thanks for your help,

    Sri.

Listen for fan noise. Is it booting?

Try the ziplock bag in the freezer trick.

I cannot hear the fan noise. But tried the zip locak bag trick. Now the system is up and running.
Thanks so much for your help.
