AOA 110-AB running linux

Hi,

I have an original xp disc i have put on this machine problem is it keeps freezing now any help would be appreciated sorting this prob or what i need too sort it

have you tried with another dvd/cd drive
have you tried with another cd/dvd media
what errors?
where do you get the errors?

 

Hi i am not getting any errors at all it just seems too freeze for about 15-20 seconds quite frequently after i install updates from windows seems ok with first lot of udates but as soon as service pack 2 goes on that is when it freezes.

it freezes then lets me go on other page and freezes again

was it always like this or happened recently?
what other 'page' are you talking about ???
when it freezes, can you see something weird in the task manager (processes that use loads of memory, or processes that use high % of cpu) ??

have you upgraded the memory in the AAO by any chance?
if so, try removing the upgrade before reinstalling.
