Anyone used Vista Transformation Pack on AA1 with XP??

    I've seen an article that you can use the Vista Transformation pack to give your AA1 a Vista look and feel.

    However this article also said that you would need at least 64mb video card as well as Direct X 8.0 or something along those lines.

    Have you tried running this Transformation pack on your Aspire One and have you had any compatibility/performanace issues?

    i used XPize... looks great now. if xpize gives you and old 95 look find the uxtheme patcher for sp3. works like a charm. all my pcs have it now.

    i remember using that program once, it royally screwed my xp pc in the end. they may have made it more stable but i doubt it'll run well on the AA1 XP edition, given the video card is not that great.
