I was wondering if anyone has changed the batteries in the battery pack to make the battery last longer. I was thinking of instead of getting a 6 cell battery, I can just put batteries with higher maH in it. Something like this http://www.batteryjunction.com/tenergy-18650-tab-2600.html. If it works the way I think it will, I'll get 7800maH out of the 3 cell battery which is more than the 6 cell.
Has anyone tried anything like this before?

Your mah will be 2600 with those batteries.

They need to be wired in series to get the proper volage, so the mah rating would be the same.

If yoy were to wire them in parallel your mah would go up (3x 2600) but then you will only have 3.7 volts

Dont even try it. The charge controller inside the battery pack will not like a higher capacity cell being used. The only way to do this would be to reflash the charge controller and that's difficult if not impossible.

You would get 7800 at 3.7 Volt. But you need 11.1 Volt, to realize that you would only get 2600 @ 11.1 Volt out of 3 cells. But as mentioned above you cannot you change the cells.
THEY MAY EXPLODE when using the wrong controller !

So what is the theoretical size a 3 cell could be manufactured at (pro or mod)? could we get up to 3000mha?
