Any PS3 Owners???

I have one but I only play GTA4 single player. I'm on my fifth playthrough (100%). Best game ever.
 
Loved GTA, then exams came, and couldn't play
Then still during exams I got MGS4, my first MGS (I have 3, but played about 1 hour), and it is THE best game ever made, even if the cutscenes are amazingly long.
Ultimate game both on and offline.
GTA's online fucks me off, with its lack of a lobby, and constant disconnects (although I haven't played it for ages)

GT5 Prologue
Of these, Motorstorm and Skate are absolutely amazing and I can't wait for their sequels later this year, GT5 is ok, but I don't play much, Oblivion is amazing but extremely long so not for me, PES is boring, and NFS is ust shit... you cant even back up your save files. And its online is the worst online I have ever used.
And I used to have F1 06 which was really poor, as it came out after the revelation of Lewis Hamilton, but had the drivers at their old teams, and Virtua Tennis which was amazing.

Sorry for the longness, what games have you lot got?

And btw, how on earth have you completed it 5 times 100%? doesn't it get boring?

Boring? Never! I love this game, and the series. I play GTA 3, GTA VC and GTA SA on a regular basis.

Yes a huge collection lol.

I cant wait for modchips, I will be there when they're first released. Then I can have all the games under the sun except those with accessories like GH, and RockBand (if it ever comes to ps3)

And very interesting that it's superior on pc.
On a side note, not to take this in the direction of ps3 vs xbox, but having connected my ps3 via scart, component and HDMI, I can safely say 1080p is massively different from scart and component in clarity-it's way better...
On this basis, I really can't understand how 360 people can claim it has better graphics?

not only 360 people say that, it IS like that. The graphics-processor of the xbox is more powerful, that's a fact.

And I don't understand what your discovery has to do with the xbox. Ok, you noticed that ps3 looks better with HDMI than with scart, wow, congratulations. Do you really think with the xbox the result would differ?


By the way:
Almost none of the games uses 1080p, most are in 720p or even less. gta4 runs only with 640p on the ps3, on the xbox with 720p.


Most people think the ps3 is so powerful because they believe in the fairy tales the sony-guys used to tell. I think it's really sad that those people still think that their console is much better than the xbox, because it's not, they are quite the same
 
i don't want this turning into a fanboy fight...

people buy the console they believe they will get the most fun out of, plain and simple... if youre going to slag off ps3's then take your business elsewhere
 
Yep, I got my PS3 as a launch unit in the US, it even game with (yetch) Taledega Nights Blu Ray. I've rather well enjoyed it.

was gonna get DiRT, but motorstorm is almost the same..

oblivion as ive said is a much better game on the pc IMO, but if you enjoy it......

GT5 is wicked cool. 'nuff said

disappointed to see you don't have warhawk or MGS4. they're both insanely good games!
 
MGS4 is the only reason I haven't sold my PS3 yet, everything else has either been a 360 port or meh...

MGS4 is awesome

I'm playing Too Human now though on my 360, it's great

I'll start off by negating any fanboyism on my part: I already owned a wii and my flatmate owned a 360 when i got my PS3 (as a free gift with my phone :))
