I have owned the Acer Aspire One for three days now and I cannot stand the glare. The screen can only be adjusted from super-bright to very-bright. I have very sensitive eyes and have to wear two pairs of sunglasses to be even moderately comfortable in front of this tiny screen. Does Acer make a screen-filter for this?

I don't think that they do, nor have I ever seen one. I prefer the "trubrite" type screen and the glare is something I overlook in favor of the truer (to me) colors. Try unplugging the power cord and run on just the battery. This steps down the brightness more than when you are on AC power. You might get a "privacy" screen as these limit the angle at which you can see the screen and also helps with the glare.
