Alternative SSD replacment idea

was thinking about different options and dont think i have seen anybody use something like this
What about using and external usb pen drive (opened up and soldered in like the modems)
something like this

at £30 for 16gb i think this would be cheap and faster no?


I am sure there is probably faster ones and some of these come smartboost would they be better for installing xp?

So that would amke it faster than the fitted ssd and we could boot to it having it fitted internally and give a 16gb drive + 8gb ssd


Ok so digging around a little more
The record time for reading and writing speed is 31.2MB/s and 29.3.8MB/s the interesting point is the writing speed is double the previous generation of OCZ Rally2. The reading speed is slightly more than faster flash drives and has astonishing writing speed ever before.
