Age of Mythology - initialization failed

    Hi all. I just bought a new AA1 with Windows XP. I cannot play Age of Mythology - a pop-up "Initialization Failed" appears. Did anybody encounter this problem? Should I upgrade anything (please, do not answer "search in the forum" - there is much confusing data here). Thanks

    OK, I
    1. downloaded and upgraded the driver for 945
    2. downloaded and installed 3Danalyzer
    and it works! But are there other upgrades recommended?

    You should have the 3305 BIOS if your machine is relatively new (there have been several reports of problems with earlier versions), but I wouldn't go changing things if the machine feels right. It's the easiest thing in the world to get yourself into a headache over a comment you read in one of these forums.

    Hi,

    I've got the same problem & I've a solution its -

    You have to go in the display settings & Set the colours to 16bit.
