Install vlc.Once done, start vlc, copy the link and paste it into the app under file, open network stream, http.....
    see how to install here

and follow the other links if necessary. This will save you lotsa space, so get rid of the other stuff ;)

Well, no-one is required to: this isn't anyone's job!

Looking at your issue, though, it's difficult to help without more info. This is one of those situations where a GUI is seriously unhelpful: I'm far from clear just what you are saying 'OK' and 'APPLY' to since I can't see your screen.

Can we try this from the command line, so that you can copy & paste the session where we can all see it? In a terminal, do

    Code:
    sudo yum install name_of_your_package
with the obvious substitution: if there is more than one package then you can list them all with spaces in between. If you still get errors, still in that same terminal, do

    Code:
    sudo ls /etc/yum.repos.d/
Then highlight the whole session and copy & paste it into a posting here.

The first lot of output will make it clearer exactly what the errors are; the second lot will tell us what repositories you have enabled.

Nah. The issue is that several packages Acer customised are incompatible with the official packages the software our dear OP wishes to install. If he really, really, really wants to run the programs mentioned, he will need to back up those packages, force install the official ones and then copy the customised ones back.

Macles has several articles on that for other programs.
