Advanced menu

    How do i get the right click advanced menu working? I've just had to use the recovery disc and am starting all over again installing everything. Before, when browsing the beginners section, i found a really good link somebody had suggested with ten tips for new Linux users (which including activating the advanced menu). Of course,I can't for the life of me find it now - any suggestions? Thanks
