It appears from the latest info available that installing more RAM will involve a certain amount of disassembly and I shall be one of those cracking open their One when I receive mine (due 25/7 from play.com in the UK).

So, can I ask anyone who opens up their One before this, to take a few photographs and write some brief notes about what this involves? My expectation is that it will be fairly straightforward, but it's always easier following someone else's lead and I certainly don't want to damage my new laptot (thanks to The Register for this silly but funny name for very small cheap computers) within days of receiving it.

    Thanks for the link.

AFAICT it doesn't look too hard and there also appears to be fair bit of empty space inside to fit some more goodies (like another USB hub, more flash memory, bluetooth adapter, gps receiver etc) - jolly good.

Excellent, thanks for that, I appreciate it. I haven't got mine yet (it will arrive on 25/7 I hope) but I intend to upgrade the RAM pretty much as soon as I get it and this will be useful. I'll look forward to the piccies.
