I was fairly certain that in order for dual channel chipset to work, it required 2 of the same size memory sticks. Now I just bought a 150 with 1gig of ram. It came with an extra 1gig stick. Has anyone run benchmarks before and after the ram upgrade to see how it effected a: memory bandwidth and b: overall performance? I know people have been saying it seems faster with the new ram, but I'm rather curious if someone has taken a more scientific approach?

I answered my own question. I was incorrectly informed that the system was dual channel when it isn't. In goes the ram.

The AAO only supports 1.5GB, the extra 1GB is to replace the extra 512MB I guess.
