Adding 3G UMTS miniPCIe WWAN modem to AO 722

    Hi All,

    I have AO 722 with C-60 and 4GB of RAM, in specs was 3G option, but our country Acer don't sell 3G pre-install.

    I see inside free miniPCIe slot , but no dedicated 3G athenas and on Wifi are conected 2 anthenas White and Black.

    - Is miniPCIe slot functional ?
    - Does AO 722 have SIM slot or I need miniPCIe modem with integrated SIM slot ?
    - Are one of anthenas 3G compatible and which one (White or Black) ?
    - Which miniPCIe 3G modem to use, I try HP GOBI2000 based card, but It's not on white list , I can't see it in OS ?

    Posts from other threads indicate that it is not soldered and has no antenna. But this feedback is more for US sold versions of the AO722 mostly the BZ454 variant. Models sold in other countries may have different components inside,
