    Hi guys! (and girls)

I've bought the aspireone today and enabled the advanced user stuff and installed the vlc media player. It all went very well and i can start vlc player by using the right mouse button and select in in the prompt menu that is showing up. The question; can I also add the vlc media player in the same menu as were the media master program stands leftunder in the home menu.

Thanks for all the response in advance.

ps. is there anybody who knows if there is a (free) photo editor that i can use on my aspire one?

    Kind regards,

    Rick

Yes, f-spot is a good photo management program and is available from the software repository. Just use the add/remove software menu.

As for putting VLC on the desktop menu system, see this thread:

    Additional:

Depending on how much editing you want to do if f-spot is not enough then the Gimp is a powerful graphics editor and is also available from the repository.

For simple image viewing, gThumb is already installed on your One.
