Acer one mail and self-signed certificates?

    My work mail is IMAP behind a self-signed SSL root certificate. Is there a way to install root certificates for the mail client or Linpus?
    Has anyone got Acer mail working with self-signed root certificates? Or should I just switch to Thunderbird?
