Deals on Acer Ones with 160 GB HD on ebay with Live Cash Back savings. Check out the link below for details.

They are going on ebay for about $430 and there is a Microsoft live search cashback deal going on for 30% back. With shipping you end up around 320 after shipping etc. It takes about 60 days to get the 30% rebate back.

I ordered mine last night (pulled the trigger just before the $429s were posted so I payed about $8 more) and got the ship notice from Mwave about an hour after I payed. Got the email this morning regarding my $132 rebate from Microsoft. I just about bought Thursday night from Newgg for $399+15 shipping. My total here came to about $323.

Same here: ordered one from mwave via eBay with Live Cashback. However, as I live in CA, I've got to pay about $35 in sales tax that other folks didn't. Still, at $350 after cashback, it's $50 cheaper than anywhere else. After all the waiting to get the perfect netbook (was hoping to get one with integrated 3G), I just couldn't resist the savings. Also, I don't think I can stomach what the U.S wireless carriers charge monthly for 3G access. Too bad as I think it'd be nice to have aways-on, anywhere Internet access.

FYI, both eBay sellers, techtreasure and multiwavevideo, of the $429.99 Buy-It-Now units are mwave. However, multiwavevideo charges $1 less for shipping and $1 less for the optional insurance than teachtreasure.

mwave.com lists the 160gb black as in stock for $419.

still does not beat the live.com cash back deal.

I ended up getting the brown 160gig/6cell off of ebay with the live.com rebate. I had to get it through a Canadian vendor so had to pay $45 in shipping (I'm in VA), but after the $118 rebate it still only ended up being roughly $320. I submitted payment and am now just waiting to hear back from the vendor to verify everything is a go, I've got my fingers crossed! It was a little tricky getting the 30% off to apply but I finally got it to work.

Does anyone know if all Canadian versions come with the bilingual keyboards? Not a big deal if it does, I am just curious.

Just letting everyone know that the Live search cashback program is still running, but has dropped to a 20% rate. Still a good deal, but watch out for the still-inflated prices offered by some sellers.

Live search rebate is back up to 30% this weekend.

I received mine that I ordered last Friday night. It showed up at my house yesterday (posting from it now). I ordered from TechTreasure which is really mwave.com. They also sell under the multiwavevideo seller name. They have them up for $419 now.
