Acer-linpus Apps/update site is now online!

    Hi, like many people in this forum, I had a problem getting live update to work on this new machine. I tried all the ideas in the various posts with no success. Today though i finally cracked it. I remembered that I had blocked all kinds of WAN traffic on my broadband router (for security reasons). By unblocking ping, live updater now works fine. All other traffic types can remain blocked. I hope this might help other people avoid the hassle.
