Acer hangs and self mutilages screen on lid close

    The hybernate key works fine. The power button works fine. Close the lid, it goes insane. Screen becomes mutilated, total lockup unto comatoseness, I've got to dump the battery to restart! it cant even bark it's such a dog when this happens. :( What's the cure for this? Otherwise, it's a wonderkinder, and I love my blue 11.6 inch miracle.
