I did a live update yesterday and now the default Email client doesn't even load.

I click on the icon and the mouse state changes to "loading" for a second or two and then that's it. Nothing.

I've got the xfce menu on the panel and the Email option from there doesn't load either.

    Any suggestions guys?

The usual one: start it from a terminal and see what the error messages are.

I did and the terminal just closed itself down...

I also tried using the Run Program (ALT + F2) and opening in terminal and the terminal flashed up then nothing.

So in short, can't get any error messages up.

That's seriosuly weird: it's very difficult to crash a terminal!

All I can think of at this point is to uninstall it, then reinstall and see if that sorts it out.

I tried uninstalling it from Add/Remove Programs and then I couldn't reinstall it so I ended up reinstalling Linux from the recovery USB.

    Couldn't find any other solution.
