My girlfriends acer aspire 5720 laptop has developed a charging problem. The laptop will stop charging all of a sudden and the power button and battery indicator will flash orange.
When I plug the charger out the power button and battery indicator will go green and when I plug it back in and eventually get it to charge again the power and battery light will go constant orange. I was wondering if this is a charger problem or the dc jack or something else?

    Regards Liam

same problem ... D 260 Aspire one ... no go

Charger plugged in to live operational circuit breaker, warm to touch

NO signs of life from Notebook purchased Oct 2010

    Is this the appropriate transformer?

The AC adapter(transformer) should have the output rating listed on a tag and your
laptop/netbook should also have a similar tag listing input requirements and
    they should match.
