Acer Aspire Z5751 CPU Upgrade

Hi, I want to know if the Intel G6950 CPU that came with this PC can be upgraded to an i5-680 for example.
They are both 1156 pin CPUs and from the same family according to Intel website:

Okay, I know it's weird answering your own Posts, but my Boss wanted
to know right away, and not wait. So an educated guess says, JUST TRY IT.

Guess what, it works!! Identified the CPU speed, etc. correctly in the BIOS.

This is the fastest processor available for the PC because of the integrated HD graphics.
