acer aspire one warranty question.

    my wife threw away all the documentation my acer aspire one AOA 150 came with. i have a 1 year warranty and managed to register it at the official site, question is does installing windows 7 rc 1 void my warranty? cause i really messed up my computer when i tried to install xp home again on it... and i need to send it in to be fixed cause all i see is black screen...

    Can you boot in "Safe Mode"? If so, navigate to the erecovery folder in your "C" directory and try it. Did you loose the erecovery partition when you loaded Win 7? If so, the only save is an external CD ROM and any legal copy of XP Home Edition and use the CA code on the sticker on the bottom of the Acer.
