Acer Aspire is not recognizing the hard Disc

    I bought an Acer 1410 and it was functioning normally until yesterday when I turn it on and it show me the message "System not Found". I entered the setup and saw that the bios is not recognizing the hard Disc,Can someone help me? What may be happening? Anyone ever had this problem?

    there might be a possibility that the CMOS/BIOS battery is dead....that or your hard drive is dead.

    sounds to me like your hard drive has died. You could try swapping it with another hard drive and see if the BIOS recognises the new one.
