Acer Aspire 7736G In-built mic not working

    I purchased a brand new Aspire 7736G model in late Dec 09. The inbuilt mic and external sound
    quality is awful. When on Skype, or attempting to record inAudcity or Adobe the sound quality is
    really poor. Sounds like there is a lot of background noise.

    Can anyone help me to find a solution for this. Thank you in advance
