    Warm greetings from sunny Thailand

I have a (bought in Thailand) AAO, running EasyPeasy 1.1.

My problem is, I cannot work out how to use the Thai characters that appear on the keyboard. I have downloaded Thai language support from the Administration menu but am unable to work out how to use Thai characters after that.
One of the Alt keys has the Thai word for Thai on it, but does not display Thai characters on the screen. As a Brit learning Thai, I would like to be able to use it on my netbook because it would be much easier than actually writing difficult Thai characters.

Can anyone help me with this?
