AAO D250 TOO DARK! CrystalEye WebCam

    Using my AAO D250 for a week now, and I use my webcam often, that is, until now.
    There is a decal right by the webcam "WEBCAM OPTIMIZED for low light video chatting".
    I also have a AAO D150 and it is great! I was very pleasantly surprised how well the webcam performed.
    When I upgraded to the D250, I was excited to see the webcam was optimized even MORE!

    The truth is, the webcam on the D250 TOTALLY SUCKS!

    All of my friends that I cam with their first response is " Your webcam is SO DARK! "

    I deleted and reloaded the Chicony Webcam Driver, The controls are mostly greyed-out, before and after the reload.

    Anyone have any other similar problems? suggestions?

    yeah mine id dark and a lil choppy to, but what do you expect from a .3 mega pixel cam. You can buy a usb led light that will help a lil. If you want you can get a 1.3 mega pixel cam that from another acer and switch the camera boards, but you have to take apart the lcd casing for that. The camera board is just a usb device.
