AAO AOA150 missing mini pci-e

    ok im a total newb yes i said it lol
    but i wanna see if the missing minipci slot underneath can be used to add some usb stuff in there
    can anyone point me in the right direction if you can point me towards a tutorial that will be great
    i have everything to do it just need to find the right points on the board so i can add a usb hub
    just wanna dosome internal bluetooth and gps or maybe a touchscreen

    This connector only has 3.3 volts, but the USD D+, D-, and ground are there.

    ok problem now is standard usb is 5.0 v so it wont be enough to power like a bluetooth dongle or even a flash drive right?
    can you provide me with a clean picture on where i can draw power from a different location

    CN11 USB header on the motherboard. This picture is from the bottom, but the top of the MB is easier to solder wires to.

    You can get the idea from this picture.
    Orange is 5V
    White is D-
    Green is D+
    Brown is GND

    Hey guys!
    Great post, but a stupid question here from a lost Swede....
    Is the CN11-connector availible for use even if a have a fabric installed 3g (HDSPA) modem in my Aspire 150 ????
    Would really appreciate an answer so I dont brick my modem or mainboard.....
