I currently have an AAO 110 and have found the SSD speeds to be pitiful. I have found a place that can sell me the bottom shell off of a 150. They unfortunantly do not take ANY returns, so I come here asking if the bottom shell off of a 150 (160gb model) can fit no problem on a 110 base. I am looking for this so I don't have to worry about cutting screws standoffs, hacking pieces, etc. in order to install a 1.8 HDD.

So if anyone can shed some light on this topic, please let me know!!

There's no standoff or screws on aao 150. Also.. the HDD is 2.5", not 1.8".

Try using flashpoint to speed up the way the SSD is written to.
