AA0 runs faster, but RAM is still 512 MB

    I upgraded my AA0 110 with 1 GB. I am running Linux and I have the impression, my AA0 runs faster now. But the system still says, there are only 512 MB on board. I opened the AA0 several times to make sure the 1 GB RAM is correctly installed, but still I can only see 512 MB. Any help would be appreciated.
